Gicon Engineered Pumps’ machining capabilities include the fabrication and installation of bowl and impeller wear rings. Whether it is new product specifications or a rebuild of an existing unTit, our staff can furnish these components in various materials and sizes.
Gicon Engineered Pumps can meet the specifications that are required when supplying a new system or retrofitting an existing pumping system. Whether it is customizing a discharge head or a submersible well head, many projects require parts that aren't available. Our capabilities include fabricating submersible and lineshaft well heads, motor adapters, flanged column pipe, and customized skid packages, and numerous specialty items.
Sufficient Flow past a submersible motor will provide longer life. All GPE locations have the necessary equipment and materials to design and build flow shrouds to ensure motor cooling requirements are met. We fabricate shrouds to fit 4" - 10" motors.
Gicon Engineered Pumps specializes in the fabrication of custom motor adapters. Our capabilities include adaptations for all models, sizes and manufacturers including Indar, Byron Jackson, Reda, and Centrilift.
Impellers on submersibles and centrifugals occasionally need to be trimmed to meet specific performance curves. All Gicon Pumps locations are capable of providing this service in a swift and reliable manner. Gicon Engineered Pumps also has on site capabilities for trimming impellers from 4" through 20". In order to meet specific operating conditions and to prevent motor overload, our engineering staff can assist in determining specific trims to help ensure the longevity and efficiency of the pump system.
GPE locations are equipped to thread 1” – 4” NPT. We also can provide custom threading for 1.5” and larger. When pump setting depth is critical, GPE can custom cut lengths of 1" through 4" pipe to the customer's specification.
Our diversified machining capabilities allow us to provide bowl shafts, line-shafts, and head shafts in any thread configuration. We stock a wide range of sizes and metallurgies including 416SS, 17-4 PH and K-500 Monel.
